Pennsylvania PA Fishing – SMALLMOUTH BASS FISHING – Lackawanna to the Susquehanna River Smallies. I was in Pennsylvania PA visiting family for a day and I had smallmouth bass on my mind. Both the Lackawanna and Susquehanna River were looking good and I had 2 hours to fish for some smallie action. A quick ride to the Lackawanna, took a few casts. Time was short but we decided to shoot down a few more miles to the Susquehanna River for a final shot at some smallmouth bass. Tossed a routine of spinners, spoons, minnows and craw jigs and managed to pull out a few smallies. Had a nice sized small mouth bass but lost him after a leap. I could not have been more thrilled on the day!
Believe it or not I have fished extensively for smallmouth bass and other river fish for close to 10 years extensively. I would fish for smallmouths in the same fervor as I do today fishing the surf. Sometimes 7 days a week. But its been a long time since I had the chance to fish for them and it was like catching my first all over again. Then again if I don’t get fishing in a few day I feel like that anyways. Have fun out there and we are always happy to share our experiences with all those around the world and hope you enjoyed the video as much as we did making it.
