A lot of our recent videos have been drift fishing the flats with various artificial lures, and while that’s a ton of fun, and fun to watch, we actually didn’t do too much that style of fishing until only a few years ago. For over 30 years my dad and my uncle would fish the flats by just going out and anchoring down with some bait of any kind, throwing the lines out, and sitting back and watching them go off. And we would be hauling in Reds 2 or 3 at a time! Due to much higher traffic on weekends that style isnt too productive any more as it used to me. But if you find yourself a good hole with some feeding Redfish you can still make it work. COME ON REDS
