I thought the pre-spawn bass fishing on my local lake in Maryland would be on fire, but it was a grind. I found water temps as high as 58 degrees, but the pre-spawn bass were tight lipped. The lake was busier than usual with kids and grown ups stuck at home due to the Corona virus concerns and there were a bunch of folks on the lake fishing from shore and from boats. After catching one bass early on a shad rap, the hours ticked by without a bite until just before sunset. Happily, two beautiful pre-spawn bass including a GIANT destroyed my vibrating jig before I had to call it night!
