BIG Spotted Bass will TEAR YOUR ARM OFF! Not like LAZY Largemouth

Matt Herren loves to fish the Coosa River for spotted bass, in the river and in the impoundments, like Lake Neely Henry, Lake Logan Martin & Lake Jordan. Particularly in the lakes, spotted bass are known to commonly group up and follow bait around, especially when there’s a tasty buffet of blueback herring to follow. Meanwhile, in the rivers, they might behave more like largemouth bass. In either case, Coosa River spots are getting big, and boy are they fun to catch. Whether you’re a weekend angler looking for a hard-fighting fish, a beginner looking for an exciting and aggressive bite or a pro looking to pattern a tournament-winning limit, spotted bass in the Coosa River are a great species to target.
